Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Ribeiro in the 44th minute of play.

Fotis Kapiris made in the 51st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Zheng Chao stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Obscurials's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Luz Tejedor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but The Obscurials's Zheng Chao did a great save. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anders Westerstrand went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After 62 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fabian Spânu who took care of the corner kick. The corner led The Obscurials's Fabian Spânu to fire away a dangerous shot which Rolando Noboa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Obscurials made a substitution. Lawrance Grandison replaced Adriano Ribeiro. Fabian Spânu made in the 72nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Cliff Rowden. Zheng Chao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Mina in the 74th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, Fabian Spânu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Zheng Chao made a huge save. With a little luck, The Obscurials's Zheng Chao got control of the ball when Milagros Fraga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lawrance Grandison's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. The The Obscurials support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
