Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 曾景青 in the 16th minute of the match. 孙政超 did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Benito Sanz 24 minutes into the match. After 26 played minutes ≮亮劍≯ㄨ超越劍ㄨ→BEYOND got a freekick which was hit by 庞响昂. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 俞森朗 having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, 孙政超 managed to get in a good position for a shot. ≮亮劍≯ㄨ超越劍ㄨ→BEYOND's supporters rose to their feet, but 孙政超 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When 宋康南 fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ≮亮劍≯ㄨ超越劍ㄨ→BEYOND's protests and gave 宋康南 a yellow card for diving instead. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 孙政超 in the 40th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, ≮亮劍≯ㄨ超越劍ㄨ→BEYOND's 高德晨 broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 孙政超 to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, ≮亮劍≯ㄨ超越劍ㄨ→BEYOND's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Puig came free, but 俞森朗 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Costa Rica's 俞森朗 threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Axel Tasis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lautaro Puig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 孙政超, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 孙政超 went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 孙政超 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, one of ≮亮劍≯ㄨ超越劍ㄨ→BEYOND:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ≮亮劍≯ㄨ超越劍ㄨ→BEYOND. The referee gave Costa Rica a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Axel Tasis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ≮亮劍≯ㄨ超越劍ㄨ→BEYOND's 俞森朗. 2-1. In the 76th minute, Hugo Ferrant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute 孙政超 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 83 minutes, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Noboa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, ≮亮劍≯ㄨ超越劍ㄨ→BEYOND's 庞响昂 got a free kick in the 85th minute. A hard shot by Axel Tasis from long distance, 85 minutes into the match, got 俞森朗's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 俞森朗 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Tasis in the 90th minute. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 郭笑钢, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 96th minute 孙政超 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ≮亮劍≯ㄨ超越劍ㄨ→BEYOND's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
