Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Francisco Seco took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 minutes, Camilo Franco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uruguay and the Quitilipi players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Camilo Franco hit a great ball. Guillermo Ursino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruno Beldad during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Beldad to maneuver through the defense. Arnulfo Henrico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quitilipi's Diego Unax got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Quitilipi's Joaquin Gayoso threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Diego Unax, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 19thth minute of the game Diego Unax who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Diego Unax sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute Diego Unax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Quitilipi's Diego Unax nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Maximiliano Escribano took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Korneliusz Brak. Korneliusz Brak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Marcu Scripcaru was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 41 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Quitilipi fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! Jaime Cazalla walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 47th minute, Gaudencio Milian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guillermo Ursino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Quitilipi's Dionisio Benvide got a free kick in the 51st minute. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elliott Tinglöf, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Ursino in the 55th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Gaudencio Milian in the 57th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. After 65 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Gisbert. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Ursino in the 68th minute of play. Korneliusz Brak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 71st minute of play. Astor Boni hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Korneliusz Brak made a huge save. 90 minutes into the game, one of Uruguay:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Quitilipi's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
