When Javier Van Landschoot came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Bruly fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Javier Van Landschoot couldn't finish the play. In the 8th minute Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Armstrong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrick Armstrong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thorbjörn Olerius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Willy Van Linthout made a huge save. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paul Fiedler to strike the kick off in the second half. Willy Van Linthout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Ununger in the 72nd minute of the match. After 73 minutes Bruly's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adrian Våleman who took care of the corner kick. With a little luck, ManagerZone Crew's Patrick Armstrong got control of the ball when Luckas Cromefeldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paul Fiedler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Patrick Armstrong made a huge save. 81 minutes into the game, Paul Fiedler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Patrick Armstrong was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 86 minutes, Adrian Våleman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ManagerZone Crew's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Våleman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 89 minutes, Brend Schrevens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bruly and the ManagerZone Crew players grew even worse after the yellow card. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bruly would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
