Chile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adrian Zbora was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The audience was convinced that Valentin Voicu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
