Karl Springfält received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Manzanares came out and tried to block the shot, but Karl Springfält slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 7th minute. After 9 minutes of play, Colombia's Axel Montenegro made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jairo Asteguieta was left in no man's land by his defense there! BV Borussia Hammarby's Jairo Asteguieta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 13th minute of play. Orvar Kihlman hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Sven-Olof Josefsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jairo Asteguieta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Colombia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Axel Montenegro in the 19th minute. Jairo Asteguieta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Mastache in the 21st minute of play. Kevin Mastache might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jairo Asteguieta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kevin Mastache ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abram Sarmiento in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jairo Asteguieta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hong Hao Fei in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Asteguieta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rune Fristedt hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after BV Borussia Hammarby's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Montenegro took the corner. Luis Cazalla made a great header on Colombia's corner, it was just that BV Borussia Hammarby's Jairo Asteguieta managed to reach the ball for a save. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hong Hao Fei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Colombia's Kevin Mastache managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sven-Olof Josefsson in the 35 minute of the game. 42 minutes into the match, Colombia's Axel Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jairo Asteguieta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of BV Borussia Hammarby's Jairo Asteguieta. Jairo Asteguieta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Axel Montenegro took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jairo Asteguieta. Jairo Asteguieta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hong Hao Fei, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Birger Mårtensson struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BV Borussia Hammarby. Rune Fristedt hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. BV Borussia Hammarby's Quincy Qvalfeldt was substituted for Karl Springfält. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by BV Borussia Hammarby's Birger Mårtensson. But to his dismay, Birger Mårtensson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. The audience was convinced that Hong Hao Fei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. After having played for 74 minutes, Hong Hao Fei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BV Borussia Hammarby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hong Hao Fei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was beautiful to see BV Borussia Hammarby's Quincy Qvalfeldt in action when he in the 82nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Jairo Asteguieta was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kevin Mastache showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-4 in the 85 minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hong Hao Fei, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 93rd minute of the match Colombia got a corner. BV Borussia Hammarby's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kevin Mastache ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 96th minute of the match Ingvar Brolin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Manzanares showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
