Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Julio Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Julio Baptista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JEC - FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Geovani Garcia took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the game, Geovani Garcia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 28th minute, Julio Baptista reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 4-0. In the 33rd minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Liu Xiang Zhen, 33 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. After 45 played minutes Liu Xiang Zhen shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Costa Rica's Benito Sanz to catch but Liu Xiang Zhen was lucky. It became 6-0 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Julio Baptista made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of JEC - FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Noboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. JEC - FC's Julio Baptista got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Axel Tasis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Ramos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Juan Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Baptista in the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Geovani Garcia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Geovani Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Julio Baptista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JEC - FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 69th minute of play forced JEC - FC's goalkeeper Carlos Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lautaro Puig fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Lautaro Puig a yellow card for diving instead. Liu Xiang Zhen took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Baptista in the 75th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9-0 became the score in the 76th minute when Geovani Garcia elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Liu Xiang Zhen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pero Šiljak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Baptista succeeded in the game's 88th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 10-0. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liu Xiang Zhen in the 92nd minute of play. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovani Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. JEC - FC fully deserved thier win.
