Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Victor Piţurcă sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Piţurcă in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Nichifor Nicolae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Emerald's Victor Piţurcă sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emerald's Nichifor Nicolae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Emerald's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Felix Montenegro advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-2 in the 31st minute. Julio Vera was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Victor Piţurcă capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Victor Piţurcă really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. 41 minutes into the game, Grigore Stătescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Emerald's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 41st match minute, Emerald was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigore Stătescu to maneuver through the defense. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nichifor Nicolae breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 朱风俊 charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 朱风俊 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. With a little luck, Emerald's Nichifor Nicolae got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emerald's Nichifor Nicolae proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Emerald from getting a goal against them. When 朱风俊 was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 77 minutes had been played. In the 77th match minute, Emerald was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 朱风俊 to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Nichifor Nicolae in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ioan Logofătu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Emerald's Nichifor Nicolae got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Emerald's Gabriel Mălaimare got a free kick in the 96th minute. Ecuador's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 98th minute of the game, when Luis Andino after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Emerald's goal. Luis Andino was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Ecuador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Emerald to leave the ground with a draw.
