The Sannegården BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fredric Olsson should have stopped the shot. Diego Bradley got a throw-in 17 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jenson Smith. Edward Mcdonald kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Karl-Erik Mattsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marco Day. The goal made the score 1-1. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Erik Mattsson in the 31st minute of play. Fredric Olsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Monty Rogers took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fredric Olsson. Fredric Olsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Fredric Olsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Diego Bradley made in the 45th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sannegården BK's Henry Kullgren. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Karl-Erik Mattsson made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Sannegården BK's Anthony Meza got a free kick in the 58th minute. Sannegården BK made a substitution. Róbson Eger replaced Karl-Erik Mattsson. The supporters of USA booed when Sannegården BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Meza didn't get a good kick on the ball. USA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
