In the 7th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elano Manco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of play forced Peluchita Fc's goalkeeper Elano Manco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nemesio Uxio's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nemesio Uxio helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of Peluchita Fc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ecuador:s goal. In the 16th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elano Manco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Elano Manco. Peluchita Fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 21st minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elano Manco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elano Manco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elano Manco. Elano Manco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 26th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the game, Pastor Txerran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peluchita Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After 30 played minutes Peluchita Fc got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Txerran. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute of play forced Peluchita Fc's goalkeeper Elano Manco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elano Manco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peluchita Fc's Pastor Txerran got his second yellow card of the match in the 36th minute. The referee ordered Pastor Txerran off the ground. Pastor Txerran hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Peluchita Fc's Hilario Cresconio got a free kick in the 40th minute. Elano Manco came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Elano Manco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Elano Manco made a huge save. 57 minutes into the match, Peluchita Fc's goalkeeper Elano Manco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elano Manco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Peluchita Fc's goalkeeper Elano Manco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Cristian Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Elano Manco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peluchita Fc's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Elano Manco stood somewhat misplaced when Daniel Zorita came free in front of goal and shot 0-6 to the left of him in the 70 minute. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Elano Manco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 76 minutes into the match, Beto Camps notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 80 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elano Manco. Peluchita Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 90th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elano Manco. Elano Manco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-9. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Elano Manco. That made the score 1-10 in the 95 minute of play. The Peluchita Fc fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
