Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vilgot Palmquist. Övertorneå RK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 7th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilgot Palmquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vilgot Palmquist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Vilgot Palmquist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After having played for 21 minutes, Albin Asplund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Övertorneå RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albin Asplund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vilgot Palmquist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vilgot Palmquist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Gökcan Hürmetli hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Olov Almkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vilgot Palmquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. When Övertorneå RK's Saverio Matthew in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Vilgot Palmquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Övertorneå RK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Albin Asplund struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Övertorneå RK. Övertorneå RK's Gökcan Hürmetli shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 40th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Julio Vera but with some difficulty. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. Övertorneå RK's Vilgot Palmquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 48th minute of play. The Övertorneå RK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-4.

52 minutes into the game, Saverio Matthew cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Almqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The supporters of Övertorneå RK booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 played minutes Övertorneå RK got a freekick which was hit by Albin Asplund. In the 75th minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saverio Matthew took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. After 84 played minutes Övertorneå RK got a freekick which was hit by Olov Almkvist. In the 85th minute, Albin Asplund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Matthew in the 89th minute of the match. Vilgot Palmquist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 90th minute. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saverio Matthew's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. After 95 minutes, Agustín Saelices mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Övertorneå RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. In the 96thth minute of the game Saverio Matthew who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
