After 17 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Tafalla. Rüştü Kadim hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Rüştü Kadim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chunche Montero in the 32nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pars Sururi during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to ஐ ▓▒ ≮Ҝằ§ŧîиGs ≯™ ▒▓ ஐ getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Pars Sururi hit a great ball. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Agah Çeliktaş didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Rüştü Kadim came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Agah Çeliktaş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 82 played minutes ஐ ▓▒ ≮Ҝằ§ŧîиGs ≯™ ▒▓ ஐ got a freekick which was hit by Chunche Montero. 85 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Agah Çeliktaş. ஐ ▓▒ ≮Ҝằ§ŧîиGs ≯™ ▒▓ ஐ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Agah Çeliktaş made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luca Zorita in the 88th minute. A collision led to ஐ ▓▒ ≮Ҝằ§ŧîиGs ≯™ ▒▓ ஐ getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Fabio Cannavaro hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Alberto Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mexico's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
