An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Marinho in the 11th minute of play forced Areco FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Urtats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Urtats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the game, FC ICEWIND DALE's Fernando Marinho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Urtats made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 17 minutes of play, FC ICEWIND DALE's Fernando Marinho made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gabriel Urtats was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gabriel Urtats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Marinho in the 19th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Erik Stor got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some careless play in the Areco FC defense, Fernando Marinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Urtats. The Areco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Urtats should have stopped the shot. In the 27th minute, Garret Spence hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When FC ICEWIND DALE's Fernando Marinho in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 37th minute, Fernando Marinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Urtats was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Gabriel Urtats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Marinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 played minutes Areco FC got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Sendoa. After a defensive mix-up in Areco FC's zone, Erik Stor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Urtats came out of the goal and Erik Stor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Igor Cristofor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Fernando Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Areco FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Aquiles Pirro hit a great ball. After 64 played minutes Areco FC got a freekick which was hit by Garret Spence. If Fernando Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gabriel Urtats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Marinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC ICEWIND DALE booed when Areco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Areco FC's Gabriel Urtats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Marinho in the 75th minute of play. After 78 played minutes Areco FC got a freekick which was hit by Garret Spence. Garret Spence made in the 86th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ismael Barros immediately put the ball in play. Gabriel Urtats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Marinho in the 89th minute of play. FC ICEWIND DALE were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
