Lisandro Roderigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Urtats having to interfere. Lucio Galo kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Norbert Chwalkiewicz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 12th minute. De Boedo Vengo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Gabriel Urtats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Roderigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. De Boedo Vengo were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Areco FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cipriano Aresti took the corner. Lisandro Roderigo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Wawrzyniec Charamut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Sol, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Wawrzyniec Charamut came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Areco FC's Zeledon Sol. But to his dismay, Zeledon Sol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After some careless play in the De Boedo Vengo defense, Zeledon Sol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wawrzyniec Charamut. The De Boedo Vengo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wawrzyniec Charamut should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute of the match, Lisandro Roderigo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gabriel Urtats was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Norbert Chwalkiewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Gabriel Urtats made a huge save. In the 40th minute of the game, Abelardo Felipo landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Zeledon Sol hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, De Boedo Vengo's Lisandro Roderigo got a free kick in the 44th minute.

In the 53rd minute Norbert Chwalkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Urtats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Felix Asier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Urtats was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norbert Chwalkiewicz couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Barros in the 64th minute of play forced De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Charamut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th match minute, De Boedo Vengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Asier to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Asier in the 94th minute of play forced Areco FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Urtats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Areco FC booed when De Boedo Vengo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Aresti didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Zeledon Sol fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
