Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Zeledon Sol started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With an all-out effort, Areco FC's Loco De la Maza threw himself towards the right post 2 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zeledon Sol, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Falckner FC's Julien Steuble got a free kick in the 4th minute. Agustin Abaunza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Falckner FC's attentive Gaspar Baraquiel managed to snatch the ball when Hugo Gines made a throw-in in the 10th minute of the game. Gabriel Urtats came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Falckner FC's Gianluca Vialli. But to his dismay, Gianluca Vialli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Loco De la Maza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Sol in the 16th minute of play. Gabriel Urtats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gianluca Vialli, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Gianluca Vialli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Falckner FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gianluca Vialli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Urtats breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th minute, Jose Baldovino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Falckner FC's Loco De la Maza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Sol in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Areco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gianluca Vialli came free, but Gabriel Urtats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Areco FC's Tor Kämpe got a free kick in the 39th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Areco FC's zone, Olaf Ciempa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Urtats came out of the goal and Olaf Ciempa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Agustin Abaunza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Loco De la Maza made a huge save. In the 47th match minute, Falckner FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julien Steuble to maneuver through the defense. Nói Ado struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Loco De la Maza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Areco FC.

Areco FC's Gabriel Urtats proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Areco FC from getting a goal against them. Gabriel Urtats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gianluca Vialli in the 55th minute of the match. When Areco FC's Zeledon Sol in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Falckner FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 61 minutes Areco FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Olaf Ciempa who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Falckner FC's Jose Baldovino to fire away a dangerous shot which Gabriel Urtats despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Areco FC's Gabriel Urtats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gianluca Vialli in the 64th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jose Baldovino got free with Gabriel Urtats in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 66 minutes into the match, Falckner FC's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Abaunza came free, but Loco De la Maza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 played minutes Falckner FC got a freekick which was hit by Gianluca Vialli. Gabriel Urtats made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jose Baldovino in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute, Lucio Galo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute Agustin Abaunza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loco De la Maza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Falckner FC defense, Agustin Abaunza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Loco De la Maza. The Falckner FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Loco De la Maza should have stopped the shot. 81 minutes into the match, Falckner FC's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Abaunza came free, but Loco De la Maza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Gianluca Vialli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Gabriel Urtats was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 89 minutes into the match, Gianluca Vialli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Urtats. Areco FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gianluca Vialli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Loco De la Maza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Abaunza in the 93rd minute of play. Jose Baldovino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Urtats read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. After 95 minutes, Gaspar Baraquiel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Falckner FC and the Areco FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Falckner FC's Gaspar Baraquiel got a free kick in the 95th minute. Lucio Galo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Loco De la Maza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Falckner FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
