But to his dismay, Augusto Estefan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Zachariasz Dudkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Gheară, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wawrzyniec Charamut stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augusto Estefan's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. If Augusto Estefan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 42 played minutes, CRUZ DEL SUR's Bautista Marcó shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Charamut came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CRUZ DEL SUR reached it. Wawrzyniec Charamut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Estefan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wawrzyniec Charamut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abundio Manzano in the 47th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

With a little luck, De Boedo Vengo's Wawrzyniec Charamut got control of the ball when Fabio Zorondo tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to De Boedo Vengo getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Desiderio Ascencio hit a great ball. After 91 played minutes, CRUZ DEL SUR's Bautista Marcó shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Charamut came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CRUZ DEL SUR reached it. In the 94th minute, CRUZ DEL SUR's Eustacio Antonucci dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. The CRUZ DEL SUR players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
