Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adrian Montero in the 4th minute. In the 9th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Argentinos del Norte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias Barratt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Argentinos del Norte's attentive Gaspar Laurendi managed to snatch the ball when Salvador Gisbert made a throw-in in the 14th minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Castulo in the 15th minute of play. David Petersson made in the 16th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Adrian Montero. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Adrian Montero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant stood somewhat misplaced when Remigio Castulo came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 19 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 21st minute of play forced Argentinos del Norte's goalkeeper Primeiro Leto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Argentinos del Norte's Gaspar Laurendi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Salvador Gisbert in the 24 minute of the game. Thanks to some nice moves Adrian Montero could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigio Castulo in the 26th minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Gaspar Laurendi made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina. In the 37thth minute of the game Remigio Castulo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primeiro Leto having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remigio Castulo in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Argentinos del Norte's Gaspar Laurendi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Salvador Gisbert, made in the 54th minute of the game. 57 minutes into the game, Salvador Gisbert threw the ball into play from the sideline. Argentinos del Norte's Gaspar Laurendi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Argentinos del Norte's Cornelius Middelhede was substituted for Godofredo Celio. Argentinos del Norte made a substitution. Gualterio Ponc replaced Remigio Castulo. The throw-in from Salvador Gisbert in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Argentinos del Norte's Apolo Lopez. Primeiro Leto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 71st minute of play. Cornelius Middelhede took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Primeiro Leto having to make a save. In the 86th minute Cornelius Middelhede shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primeiro Leto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Argentinos del Norte's Cornelius Middelhede sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Argentinos del Norte had won after a very even match.
