Arcadio Buendia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 6th minute of play. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Alzaga FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. Arcadio Buendia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milagros Fraga in the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Alzaga FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Arcadio Buendia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of Alzaga FC booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Prats didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jose Murillo. Alzaga FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adrián Czornomaz in the 20th minute. The corner led Alzaga FC's Bernardo Franco to fire away a dangerous shot which Rolando Noboa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jose Murillo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Rolando Noboa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Goretzka in the 24th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arcadio Buendia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 26th minute of the match. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 27th minute. Luz Tejedor made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that Alzaga FC's Arcadio Buendia managed to reach the ball for a save. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alonso Berganza helped the player get up and apologised. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Peru! Peru:s Rolando Noboa showed great skill when he stopped Pan Lang Bin:s penalty. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Goretzka, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Alzaga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Arcadio Buendia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Peru's Julian Murillo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Ioseba Solo kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Peru's Luz Tejedor couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 59th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Alzaga FC. Alzaga FC's Arcadio Buendia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 62nd minute of play. Adrián Czornomaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alzaga FC's Nestor Tesone was substituted for Leon Goretzka. Ioseba Solo made in the 68th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Nestor Tesone immediately put the ball in play. Alzaga FC's Jiang Shi Shi was substituted for Pan Lang Bin. In the 73rd minute of the match Alzaga FC got a corner. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nestor Tesone ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Alzaga FC's corner Nestor Tesone fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rolando Noboa quite easily take care of the ball. In the 79th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Arcadio Buendia successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Arcadio Buendia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Alzaga FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eliseo Mina took the corner. Peru's Eliseo Mina was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arcadio Buendia in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Tenorio in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arcadio Buendia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Alzaga FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
