Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Vinicio Junior received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joaquin Gayoso came out and tried to block the shot, but Vinicio Junior slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aníbal Alagoano in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jenipapo SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arsenio Gipuzkoa in the 13th minute. Jenipapo SC's Arsenio Gipuzkoa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joaquin Gayoso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The Jenipapo SC fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Jenipapo SC's Aníbal Alagoano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aníbal Alagoano in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Jenipapo SC's Aníbal Alagoano. But to his dismay, Aníbal Alagoano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Aníbal Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jenipapo SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aníbal Alagoano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes into the match, Aníbal Alagoano notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jenipapo SC's David Seaman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd match minute, Jenipapo SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pompiliu Poalelungi to maneuver through the defense. Aníbal Alagoano had several of the Uruguay's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 41 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 6-0 score and a disappointed Joaquin Gayoso as he didn't even see the shot coming. David Seaman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When Jenipapo SC's Aníbal Alagoano in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay's goalie prevented a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Seco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Uruguay! Uruguay:s Joaquin Gayoso showed great skill when he stopped Aníbal Alagoano:s penalty. Aníbal Alagoano took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Jenipapo SC's Aníbal Alagoano got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute Aníbal Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Uruguay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arsenio Gipuzkoa was slow to take the kick. During this time Jenipapo SC's players had a chance to rest. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Jenipapo SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Uruguay:s goal. David Seaman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 65th minute. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 75 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Sainz. After recieving a nice pass, Jenipapo SC's Arsenio Gipuzkoa tried to score from far away in the 75th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Carlos Monteiro in the 77th minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Junior in the 83rd minute of the match. David Seaman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 84th minute of play forced Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper David Seaman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Raphael Cunha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gayoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. Maurício Arósio hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Zé Carlos Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Junior came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Alberto Gisbert fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruguay's protests and gave Alberto Gisbert a yellow card for diving instead. Alberto Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When Uruguay's Francisco Seco in 100 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. David Seaman guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in.
