The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Panama's Jose Carita got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 17thth minute of the game Eliseo Mano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panama's Marcos Cotilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kostja Vertot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Abraham Alguacil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kostja Vertot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kostja Vertot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Alguacil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eliseo Mano to make the kick off. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Abraham Alguacil hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mano in the 56th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Filipović in the 63rd minute of the match. Eliseo Mano took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Jose Carita made in the 71st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Tomas Berganza immediately put the ball in play. Kostja Vertot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 91st minute of the match. Fajteri were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Panama for a fine match.
