Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonardo Magalhães started the match with the kick off. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 12 minutes, Emanuel Ocampo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Honduras and the Jenipapo SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Jenipapo SC booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Ocampo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jenipapo SC's Rony Dionísio shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 13th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Lautaro Navarro but with some difficulty. Jenipapo SC's Sebastião Sabóia got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 21 minutes, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Villa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute, Edmundo Espiga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Jenipapo SC's Alberto Couto got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 30th minute, Emanuel Ocampo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Rony Dionísio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Rony Dionísio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edmundo Espiga took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kaká Lopes. Kaká Lopes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Leonardo Magalhães charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonardo Magalhães the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Honduras booed when Jenipapo SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kaká Lopes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Sebastião Sabóia sent off a good shot on target. Sebastian Villa took the ball and in the 49 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kaká Lopes. Kaká Lopes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3.

Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Sabóia in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Magalhães in the 59th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Sebastian Villa made a precise shot to the right of Kaká Lopes. Jenipapo SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 73rd minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaká Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 75 played minutes Jenipapo SC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Couto. After 88 minutes of play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kaká Lopes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kaká Lopes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. 96 minutes into the game, Percy Lopes threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Luca Espinar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Percy Lopes made in the 97th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Sebastião Sabóia immediately put the ball in play. Honduras's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
