Jenipapo SC's Kaká Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 24th minute of play. Kaká Lopes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Leonardo Magalhães tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rafinha Gomes hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Berganza was the one to do the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Tomas Berganza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jenipapo SC's Kaká Lopes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Jenipapo SC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Cacá Brodel hit a great ball.
