The supporters of FC Botosani booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jamaall Padmore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jamaica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 5th minute Eric Măliță collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. 5 minutes into the game, Finlay Stair was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jamaica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Botosani the free kick. Finlay Stair hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristinel Sava in the 11th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remus Zbora in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Corneliu Mihăescu. In the 32nd minute Jarell Hill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihnea Aldea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristinel Sava in the 35th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jamaica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Victor Homeag scored to the left of an out of position Demonde Jacobson, making the score, 3-0. Demonde Jacobson was a little too slow when Victor Homeag got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Finlay Stair was the one to do the kick off. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristide Bălașa in the 53rd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Alanzo Olmos made a precise shot to the right of Demonde Jacobson. Jamaica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Demonde Jacobson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvarez Schreiner in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alanzo Olmos in the 80th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aristide Bălașa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demonde Jacobson having to interfere. In the 83rdth minute of the game Cristinel Sava who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Demonde Jacobson came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Botosani's Alanzo Olmos. But to his dismay, Alanzo Olmos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. 88 minutes into the match, Dumitru Achiriloaie notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Demonde Jacobson came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Botosani's Alanzo Olmos. But to his dismay, Alanzo Olmos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dumitru Achiriloaie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that FC Botosani were the better team. FC Botosani's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
