Chivos de Punto Fijo's Dani Hernández played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 38th minute of play. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chivos de Punto Fijo's goalkeeper Dani Hernández, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joaquin Prats kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. It was beautiful to see Chivos de Punto Fijo's Narciso Gombal in action when he in the 48th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Mannuel Ser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luz Tejedor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dani Hernández read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play.
