The supporters of Centenario Bohemio booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Mauro Fontanini made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 45th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matías Donato in the 71st minute of the match. Horacio Bernaldo scored 4-4 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Centenario Bohemio's Luís Eduardo López was substituted for Matías Donato. 78 minutes into the match, Mauro Fontanini notched a goal, 5-4, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 88th minute, Tomas Illescas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-6. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Eduardo López in the 95th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
