When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Lucila made a kick off. Olimpiu Semeghin charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Ernest Oprescu was slow to take the kick. During this time MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's players had a chance to rest. The corner led MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Ernest Oprescu to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. A collision led to MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Florin Ciorobîtcă hit a great ball. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
