The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 洪帆扬 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. ≮亮劍≯→中国飞豹FC's 龚建剑 got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. But to his dismay, 洪帆扬 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by 龚建剑 in the 88th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ≮亮劍≯→中国飞豹FC's 龚建剑 managed to work through Ecuador's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. 龚建剑 dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 90 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when 林威宽 came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ≮亮劍≯→中国飞豹FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
