Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xu Le Shu went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 21 minutes, Xu Le Shu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SRP-Laguna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xu Le Shu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xu Le Shu might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xu Le Shu ran back to his position shaking his head. 29 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Xu Le Shu came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the game, SRP-Laguna's Xu Le Shu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Xu Le Shu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Xu Le Shu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

SRP-Laguna made a substitution. Rafael Furtado replaced Deivid de Sena. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Anderson Laguna in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xu Le Shu, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Xu Le Shu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xu Le Shu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 66th minute Xu Le Shu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Correa during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Xu Le Shu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Xu Le Shu sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. SRP-Laguna made a substitution. Frasier Crane replaced Xu Le Shu. 6-0 became the score in the 82nd minute when Frasier Crane elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frasier Crane in the 87th minute of the match. SRP-Laguna's Anderson Laguna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save SRP-Laguna from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frasier Crane in the 91st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd match minute, SRP-Laguna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by He Bing Jie to maneuver through the defense. Anderson Laguna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SRP-Laguna fully deserved thier win.
