Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fausto LaGarde in the 3rd minute. 13 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Wawrzyniec Dejo came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prejun Saer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Fausto LaGarde sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute, BINGO FUEL's Braian Romero dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Harold Pothuizen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. After 28 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Prats. 29 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Guillelmo. The supporters of Peru booed when BINGO FUEL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Guillelmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, BINGO FUEL's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Prejun Saer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Moises Gayoso fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peru's protests and gave Moises Gayoso a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Moises Gayoso. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Fausto LaGarde tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute, Luz Tejedor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nejat Alp Tuğrul to make the kick off. Prejun Saer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luz Tejedor went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Prejun Saer made a huge save. In the 69th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prejun Saer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prejun Saer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 74th minute of play. After 76 played minutes BINGO FUEL got a freekick which was hit by Helmut Männik. Leonel Vangioni made in the 80th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Fausto LaGarde however managed to control. In the 81st match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emmanuel Reyes to maneuver through the defense. After 82 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Emmanuel Reyes. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Guillelmo in the 83rd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Mario Guillelmo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BINGO FUEL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wawrzyniec Dejo in the 88th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Peru's Rafael Gallo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Prejun Saer. That made the score 2-2 after 89 minutes of play. Eliseo Mina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Prejun Saer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
