Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tim Brenner went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 8 minutes, Pankracy Ferfecki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PacMan SugarEaters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pankracy Ferfecki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Axel Tasis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Brenner, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Tim Brenner scored 2-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 17 minutes into the game, Axel Tasis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PacMan SugarEaters the free kick. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Lind in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Tim Brenner dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 3-0. After 28 played minutes PacMan SugarEaters got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Emil Carlsson. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pankracy Ferfecki in the 31st minute of play. Axel Tasis hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in PacMan SugarEaters's zone, Axel Tasis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenny Ugla came out of the goal and Axel Tasis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alexander Carballo got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute of the match Jan Lind sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Tasis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute, Pankracy Ferfecki made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. 64 minutes into the game, Tim Brenner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tim Brenner in the 68th minute of play. Kenny Ugla came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Axel Tasis. But to his dismay, Axel Tasis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Pankracy Ferfecki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Tim Brenner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to PacMan SugarEaters getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Sigvard Blomqvist hit a great ball. Kenny Ugla was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Eliseo Noboa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eliseo Noboa really showed his touch with that goal: 6-2. Eliseo Noboa might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kenny Ugla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseo Noboa ran back to his position shaking his head. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Alebeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tim Brenner scored 7-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. PacMan SugarEaters fully deserved thier win.
