Sonny Karlberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. 龙挺卫 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 13th minute of the match. Bernt Nordlund who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Dante Lacasa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vejbystrand's 龙挺卫 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 19th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. 龙挺卫 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 23 minutes into the match, Vejbystrand's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but 龙挺卫 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 龙挺卫 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 25th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Jindřich Benc made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 32 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Cazalla. Sonny Karlberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sonny Karlberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. 龙挺卫 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. 38 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Bernt Nordlund came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 41 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Joel Gaona. 龙挺卫 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Sonny Karlberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 54 minutes Vejbystrand's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Alberto Tafalla made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Vejbystrand's 龙挺卫 managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 58th minute, Harald Ennegren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vejbystrand fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. 龙挺卫 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Harald Ennegren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 70th minute of play forced Vejbystrand's goalkeeper 龙挺卫 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lars Bergqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Vejbystrand getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Tommy Norberg hit a great ball. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Vejbystrand's goalkeeper 龙挺卫 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Harald Ennegren's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harald Ennegren helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th minute Harald Ennegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but 龙挺卫 saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 95 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of 龙挺卫, 3-2.
