Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Don Nickler started the match with the kick off. Ivan Västlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 14th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Västlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Västlund was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute Agustín Saelices suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Bror Beck kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Westra Aros SK's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Ivan Västlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Västlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The tension between the Westra Aros SK and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Westra Aros SK's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Västlund came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Westra Aros SK's Ivan Västlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 63rd minute of play. After 64 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Västlund was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ivan Västlund firmly grabbed it by the left post. 81 minutes into the match, Westra Aros SK's goalkeeper Ivan Västlund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Westra Aros SK's goalkeeper Ivan Västlund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Västlund came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ivan Västlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
