Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erwann Patrice in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Junior Quintana came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Junior Quintana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th play minute Erwann Patrice came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. 3-0. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Félicien Boidin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 39 minutes, Junior Quintana made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 43 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erwann Patrice. Junior Quintana did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 6-0 to the left of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant 45 minutes into the match. Félicien Boidin kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Clem Fath in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Junior Quintana in the 54th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Cosa nostra Lyon's Erwann Patrice. But to his dismay, Erwann Patrice quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erwann Patrice in the 62nd minute of play. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Junior Quintana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. The supporters of Cosa nostra Lyon booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Cosa nostra Lyon's Erwann Patrice. But to his dismay, Erwann Patrice quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Erwann Patrice might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erwann Patrice ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Cosa nostra Lyon's goalkeeper Clem Fath, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Cosa nostra Lyon's Erwann Patrice in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. After 88 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. In the 90th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Junior Quintana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Clem Fath took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Cosa nostra Lyon were the better team. Cosa nostra Lyon's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
