Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after AC Milan TM's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 24th minute of play forced AC Milan TM's goalkeeper Radu Domide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radu Domide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 27th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Radu Domide read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Ciprian Eniceicu sent off a good shot on target. 32 minutes into the game, Ciprian Eniceicu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Ciprian Eniceicu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 40th minute of play forced AC Milan TM's goalkeeper Radu Domide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radu Domide breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Sângeorzan in the 50th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61stth minute of the game Ciprian Eniceicu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ciprian Eniceicu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. AC Milan TM's Radu Domide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 71st minute of play. In the 71st minute, Iacob Spirache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Radu Domide read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Radu Domide was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The audience was convinced that Ciprian Eniceicu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 92nd minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. Ecuador played a much better game than AC Milan TM and deserved their victory. The AC Milan TM players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
