It was Cai Jun Wei who took care of the corner kick. 23 minutes into the match, JEMBer UTara's goal looked a bit too open when Milagros Fraga came free, but Cheng Hao Wei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sonny Hidayat succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 24th playminute. Cheng Hao Wei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of JEMBer UTara booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Prats didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aniol Peña in the 33rd minute of the match. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aniol Peña in the 37th minute of play. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aniol Peña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milagros Fraga got free with Cheng Hao Wei in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 54th match minute, JEMBer UTara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolly Salisbury to maneuver through the defense. İlyas Seçkiner made in the 57th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. With an all-out effort, Peru's Cheng Hao Wei threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Murillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind JEMBer UTara's goalkeeper Cheng Hao Wei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 64th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cheng Hao Wei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Murillo kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafet Nesip, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luz Tejedor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Cheng Hao Wei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Milagros Fraga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Rafet Nesip kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. Cheng Hao Wei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 79th minute of the match. Rafet Nesip recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd play minute Milagros Fraga came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cheng Hao Wei. 2-2. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. In the 93rd minute Rafael Gallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cheng Hao Wei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th match minute, JEMBer UTara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İlyas Seçkiner to maneuver through the defense. Peru were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
