Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Romulo Lehen kicked off to start the match. 9 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Rowen Doherty came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Romulo Lehen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Tasis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrique Prata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 20 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Lehen came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wei Shu Gang came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Benito Sanz could save by the left post. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. Romulo Lehen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. In the 35th minute, Grêmio Bulls's Rowen Doherty ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Rowen Doherty received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Rowen Doherty slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Romulo Lehen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sunday Skinas, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 57 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Lehen in the 58th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Romulo Lehen put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. In the 62nd minute, Romulo Lehen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Grêmio Bulls's Pedrão Prata was substituted for Romulo Lehen. Grêmio Bulls made a substitution. Mauro Sena replaced Rowen Doherty. If Ernesto Falcão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrão Prata, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 76th minute, Hugo Ferrant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Alexander Carballo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Alexander Carballo hit a great ball. Sebastião Tróia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedrão Prata went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. 89 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Sena came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Ernesto Falcão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot.
