Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner led Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s Ahmet Kadri Uğurtay to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doctor Quinn in the 14th minute of the match. Luis Andino took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jânio de Barros. Jânio de Barros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 23 minutes into the match, Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Jânio de Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jânio de Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute of play. After 27 played minutes Ballybunion Celtic F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Bektaş Ali Şencan. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jânio de Barros having to interfere. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. 34 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jânio de Barros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Ballybunion Celtic F.C. getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. José-Francisco Virues hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Luis Andino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jânio de Barros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Doctor Quinn to make the kick off. With a little luck, Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s Jânio de Barros got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jânio de Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José-Francisco Virues might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José-Francisco Virues ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jânio de Barros having to make a save. In the 83rdth minute of the game Doctor Quinn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 93 minutes, Felix Eriksson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballybunion Celtic F.C. and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ballybunion Celtic F.C. getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Felix Eriksson hit a great ball. The Ballybunion Celtic F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
