Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Amerigo Pugliese took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some careless play in the ternana calcio fc defense, Armando Natalucci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aureliusz Podolski. The ternana calcio fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aureliusz Podolski should have stopped the shot. Armando Natalucci hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the match, ternana calcio fc's goalkeeper Aureliusz Podolski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristoforo Daniele. In the 13th minute, ternana calcio fc's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cristoforo Daniele fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Bruno Antognoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Punta in the 14th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Ennio Bosso came free, but Bruno Antognoni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match, Enzo Luongo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aureliusz Podolski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Aureliusz Podolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Natalucci in the 24th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristoforo Daniele kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aureliusz Podolski. That made the score 3-0 in the 29 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enzo Luongo in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aureliusz Podolski saved ternana calcio fc from getting behind. Aureliusz Podolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristoforo Daniele in the 43rd minute of the match. If Armando Natalucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Armando Natalucci made the kick off in the second half. Nicanor Gilen hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Armando Natalucci kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes ternana calcio fc got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Filice. Italy made a substitution. Dino Grilli replaced Davide Spadoni. After a rather tough play, ternana calcio fc's Carlo Filice got a free kick in the 61st minute. Bar Olo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bar Olo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Carlo Filice hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlo Filice hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, ternana calcio fc's goal looked a bit too open when Bar Olo came free, but Aureliusz Podolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aureliusz Podolski came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Italy's Enzo Luongo. But to his dismay, Enzo Luongo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Bar Olo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliusz Podolski having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Andrea De Vito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the match, Italy's goalkeeper Bruno Antognoni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alvaro Punta. Biagio Villa made a great header on ternana calcio fc's corner, it was just that Italy's Bruno Antognoni managed to reach the ball for a save. After a defensive mix-up in Italy's zone, Alvaro Punta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Antognoni came out of the goal and Alvaro Punta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bruno Antognoni was a little too slow when Alvaro Punta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 5-1. Italy's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
