An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurand Jaraczeski in the 4th minute of play forced Kerkbrugge's goalkeeper Diego Vermeesch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Vermeesch came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Onyx's Wojciech Barycz. But to his dismay, Wojciech Barycz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Izak Van Leempten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 12 minutes, Douglas Vranken mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kerkbrugge and the Onyx players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kerkbrugge's Douglas Vranken got a free kick in the 12th minute. After having played for 15 minutes, Jurand Jaraczeski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Onyx's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jurand Jaraczeski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kerkbrugge's Diego Vermeesch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wojciech Barycz in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Onyx's Jurand Jaraczeski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diego Vermeesch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Izak Van Leempten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Vermeesch didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wojciech Barycz went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Zdzislaw Domarecki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Izak Van Leempten in the 28th minute. In the 33rd match minute, Onyx was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wojciech Barycz to maneuver through the defense. Diego Vermeesch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jurand Jaraczeski, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Antonio Huvenaerts kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Emrys Hannah took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diego Vermeesch. Diego Vermeesch dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

Onyx's Piotr Zahemski was substituted for Wojciech Barycz. 52 minutes into the game, Kerkbrugge's David Wuets nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zdzislaw Domarecki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. Izak Van Leempten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zdzislaw Domarecki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Izak Van Leempten in the 57th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Izak Van Leempten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zdzislaw Domarecki. Onyx's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Izak Van Leempten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-7. When Douglas Vranken was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 65 minutes had been played. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kerkbrugge fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! Diego Vermeesch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piotr Zahemski in the 69th minute of play. Onyx's Zdzislaw Domarecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnauld Gobeleyns in the 70th minute of play. Willem Vandommele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zdzislaw Domarecki having to interfere. If Piotr Zahemski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Kerkbrugge's goalkeeper Diego Vermeesch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jurand Jaraczeski. The audience thought a goal was coming when Piotr Zahemski got free with Diego Vermeesch in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Kerkbrugge defense, Jurand Jaraczeski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diego Vermeesch. The Kerkbrugge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diego Vermeesch should have stopped the shot. Piotr Zahemski scored 2-11 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diego Vermeesch, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kerkbrugge's Alain Allaert got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Onyx's zone, Willem Vandommele stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zdzislaw Domarecki came out of the goal and Willem Vandommele tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Onyx's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
