The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ricardinho Mesquita the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of OTTO FC - FSCMZ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ricardinho Mesquita had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 3 played minutes OTTO FC - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Ricardinho Mesquita. In the 5th minute, Erling Bennet made a precise shot to the right of Romulo Viator. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 10 played minutes OTTO FC - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Kevyn De Bruyne. After a rather tough play, OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Kaká Carneiro got a free kick in the 11th minute. Ermis Vogiatzakis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Romulo Viator skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Romulo Viator played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erling Bennet in the 16th minute of play. Aşkın Özgunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Su Shu Zhen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aşkın Özgunes came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Su Shu Zhen. But to his dismay, Su Shu Zhen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 20th minute Su Shu Zhen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aşkın Özgunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Herve de Neuyter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erling Bennet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Romulo Viator made a huge save. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Su Shu Zhen got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, OTTO FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Erling Bennet came free, but Romulo Viator reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herve de Neuyter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Romulo Viator tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermis Vogiatzakis in the 34th minute of play forced OTTO FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Romulo Viator to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bumin Kağan got free with Romulo Viator in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Romulo Viator made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Bumin Kağan sent off a good shot on target. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Romulo Viator proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save OTTO FC - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. 45 minutes into the match, OTTO FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Romulo Viator had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ermis Vogiatzakis. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Su Shu Zhen made a kick off. After 55 played minutes Soulfly F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Herve de Neuyter. Ermis Vogiatzakis took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Romulo Viator. Romulo Viator dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Romulo Viator made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bumin Kağan in the 69th minute of play.
