Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Diego Bradley kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathijs Rokeloos in the 31st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Monty Rogers in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean-Louis Van Bever prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mathijs Rokeloos might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Day. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mathijs Rokeloos ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 47th minute, Cassius Byrne left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The USA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The KFC Cromvelde players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. USA were winning 0-1.

USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathijs Rokeloos in the 54th minute of play. After 55 minutes USA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cosmin Contra who took care of the corner kick. KFC Cromvelde's Cosmin Contra was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marco Day in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. KFC Cromvelde's Jean-Louis Van Bever proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save KFC Cromvelde from getting a goal against them. 58 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's goal looked a bit too open when Jenson Smith came free, but Jean-Louis Van Bever reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jenson Smith in the 58th minute of play forced KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Jean-Louis Van Bever to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathijs Rokeloos scored 1-2 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Day, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. USA made a substitution. In the 86th minute of the match KFC Cromvelde got a corner. USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cosmin Contra ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on KFC Cromvelde's corner Cosmin Contra fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marco Day quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of KFC Cromvelde booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Koby Fletcher didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Mathijs Rokeloos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Day. USA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mathijs Rokeloos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. In the 93rd minute, USA's Khalid Parry ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jean-Louis Van Bever. Jean-Louis Van Bever yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. Jean-Louis Van Bever showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khalid Parry in the 96th minute of the match. USA were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing KFC Cromvelde to leave the ground with a draw.
