Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita made the kick off and thus started the match. 5 minutes into the match, Timmernabben FF's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Tomás Guillen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Timmernabben FF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Felix Montenegro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tomás Guillen quite easily take care of the ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Timmernabben FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Timmernabben FF's Tomás Guillen did a great save. Tomás Guillen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 10th minute of play. Tomás Guillen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Timmernabben FF's goalkeeper Tomás Guillen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Guillen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sakarias Stephansson in the 29th minute of the match. Tomás Guillen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Luis Andino made a precise shot to the right of Tomás Guillen. Timmernabben FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Sakarias Stephansson charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sakarias Stephansson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 36 played minutes Timmernabben FF got a freekick which was hit by Sakarias Stephansson. Tomás Guillen came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 41st match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Lugo in the 45th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Lugo, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Arnulfo Lugo scored 1-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Tomás Guillen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute Anton Hegg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Timmernabben FF's Tomás Guillen got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Guillen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Timmernabben FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sylwester Panikowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Guillen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 76 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anton Hegg who took care of the corner kick. With his leg Tomás Guillen managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 82 minutes into the match, Timmernabben FF's goalkeeper Tomás Guillen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 91st minute of play forced Timmernabben FF's goalkeeper Tomás Guillen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomás Guillen made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
