Krzysztof Huk succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 4th playminute. After 9 minutes of play, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. It was Mateo Leguizamo who took care of the corner kick. The corner led El Salvador's Mateo Leguizamo to fire away a dangerous shot which Manuelo Neuer despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Antoni Wierzbicki took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 26th minute Moises Fernandino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuelo Neuer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mateo Leguizamo's late challenge caught a WhiteSTOCK GriZzllies's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mateo Leguizamo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st minute, Mateo Leguizamo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 minutes of play, El Salvador's Abram Luque made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuelo Neuer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Moises Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Abram Luque hit a great ball. Miroslaw Andrychowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save. Roland Podolski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save. Łukasz Piszczek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save. When Witomir Domala fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored WhiteSTOCK GriZzllies's protests and gave Witomir Domala a yellow card for diving instead. After 47 played minutes WhiteSTOCK GriZzllies got a freekick which was hit by Witomir Domala. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

55 minutes into the match, Łukasz Piszczek notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 59 minutes into the game, Antoni Wierzbicki threw the ball into play from the sideline. El Salvador's Luis Rubio quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Moises Fernandino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuelo Neuer having to make a save. After 64 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Yepes. If Roland Podolski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moises Fernandino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Manuelo Neuer made a huge save. Łukasz Piszczek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslaw Andrychowski in the 83rd minute of play. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Podolski, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
