The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ferdinand Thurø made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Niziolek in the 6th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Radarowcy Szczecin:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of KS HANZA Goleniów:s goal. 12 minutes into the match, Klement Marut dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Radomir Zurawski, 1-0. Radomir Zurawski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Klement Marut in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Adam Niziolek notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of KS HANZA Goleniów's Ferdinand Thurø. Ferdinand Thurø was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Radomir Zurawski made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Klement Marut sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes into the match, KS HANZA Goleniów's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Niziolek came free, but Ferdinand Thurø reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in KS HANZA Goleniów's zone, Adam Niziolek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferdinand Thurø came out of the goal and Adam Niziolek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Radarowcy Szczecin's Radomir Zurawski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Radarowcy Szczecin from getting a goal against them. Don Romário scored 1-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferdinand Thurø, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. KS HANZA Goleniów's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmund Moryl in the 38th minute. KS HANZA Goleniów's Edmund Moryl was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Radomir Zurawski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Adam Niziolek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boguslaw Piesciuk kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Radarowcy Szczecin's Radomir Zurawski got control of the ball when Akın Sahir tried to sneak it across the goal line. Radomir Zurawski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Akın Sahir in the 43rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Klement Marut in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Radomir Zurawski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45th minute Adam Niziolek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Thurø saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adam Niziolek was the one to do the kick off. Adam Niziolek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Radarowcy Szczecin defense, Morgan Lundqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Radomir Zurawski. The Radarowcy Szczecin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Radomir Zurawski should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, KS HANZA Goleniów's Ferdinand Thurø got control of the ball when Don Romário tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adam Niziolek might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ferdinand Thurø. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adam Niziolek ran back to his position shaking his head. Radarowcy Szczecin's Adam Niziolek got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. KS HANZA Goleniów's Zbyszek Przybyciel was substituted for Morgan Lundqvist. KS HANZA Goleniów's Miromir Podowski was substituted for Șerban Chihaia. 77 minutes into the game, Feliks Turak threw the ball into play from the sideline. Radarowcy Szczecin's Aureliusz Dlugi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Miromir Podowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radomir Zurawski having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Radarowcy Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Zbyszek Przybyciel came free, but Radomir Zurawski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radomir Zurawski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klement Marut in the 88th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Don Romário got free with Ferdinand Thurø in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, KS HANZA Goleniów's Ferdinand Thurø got control of the ball when Adam Niziolek tried to sneak it across the goal line. Radarowcy Szczecin's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
