Stipe Pletikosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrzej Zuraw went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Sails Stitinum getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Pedro de Amaral hit a great ball. In the 41st match minute, Sails Stitinum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro de Amaral to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Fortuna 86 Szczecin's Bartosz Wierzbicki was substituted for Emil Gierasik. Pedro de Amaral made in the 60th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Fortuna 86 Szczecin's István Markos. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roberto Nirvana in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet Necdet Has saved Sails Stitinum from getting behind. It was a well-played corner which István Markos managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. If Andrzej Zuraw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Stipe Pletikosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrzej Zuraw in the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fortuna 86 Szczecin eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
