In the 39th minute of the match FC Rudzianka Szczecin got a corner. 1948 MKS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maciej Janko ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Maciej Janko almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but 1948 MKS's Ter Stegen did a great save. 1948 MKS's Ter Stegen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomasz Burufski in the 43rd minute of play. Cianán McDonald hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Cianán McDonald made in the 55th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Rudzianka Szczecin's Juliusz Cezar.
