After 17 played minutes Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin got a freekick which was hit by Ludomil Ptaszek. Baoithin Doherty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoni Kosel having to interfere. Ter Stegen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukasz Nieuzyla in the 20th minute of play. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by 1948 MKS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zachary Domin was slow to take the kick. During this time Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's players had a chance to rest. The crowd rose to their feet as Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's Duda Chaves slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ter Stegen. That made the score 1-1 after 28 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, 1948 MKS's Mack Willson got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Stasio Jerzyk in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ter Stegen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 38 minutes into the match, Teofil Ludwa notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of 1948 MKS's Ter Stegen. Ter Stegen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 43 minutes into the match, Stasio Jerzyk dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ter Stegen, 3-1. Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's Stanislaw Siembab was substituted for Teofil Ludwa. After a rather tough play, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's Walery Skonieczny got a free kick in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Donleavy Barrett made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, 1948 MKS's goal looked a bit too open when Stanislaw Siembab came free, but Ter Stegen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 54 played minutes Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin got a freekick which was hit by Walery Skonieczny. Donleavy Barrett struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Antoni Kosel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 1948 MKS. Antoni Kosel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Jameson in the 58th minute of play. In the 65th match minute, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukasz Nieuzyla to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Mack Willson came free, but Antoni Kosel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ter Stegen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zachary Domin, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute Baoithin Doherty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Kosel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Gilbert Jameson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Antoni Kosel. Gilbert Jameson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. The supporters of Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin booed when 1948 MKS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mack Willson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, 1948 MKS's goal looked a bit too open when Stasio Jerzyk came free, but Ter Stegen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the 1948 MKS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin.
