Conrado Donzel ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Norbert Major got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gustaw Nowak quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Norbert Major put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gustaw Nowak. In the 8th minute Norbert Major shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaw Nowak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustaw Nowak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefanos Stefanopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute José Pedro Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Xoxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Norbert Major notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Gustaw Nowak. Gustaw Nowak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tristan Lannister received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Sebastião Xoxe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustaw Nowak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norbert Major, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zbyszek Le Bonniec got free with Sebastião Xoxe in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gustaw Nowak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norbert Major in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Pogoń Szczecin were awarded a corner. Conrado Donzel went to the cornerflag to take it. Pogoń Szczecin's Stefanos Stefanopoulos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gustaw Nowak in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zbyszek Le Bonniec got free with Sebastião Xoxe in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Pedro Dracena in the 46th minute of play forced Pogoń Szczecin's goalkeeper Sebastião Xoxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Sebastião Xoxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszek Le Bonniec, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Pogoń Szczecin's Sebastião Xoxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszek Le Bonniec in the 63rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Zbyszek Le Bonniec managed to get in a good position for a shot. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's supporters rose to their feet, but Zbyszek Le Bonniec was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
