Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kristian Amdal started the match with the kick off. Torstein Tøndel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Cheeky Nuts United's Hauk Horne. But to his dismay, Hauk Horne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Hauk Horne tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hauk Horne went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Ragnar Hagberg kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Cheeky Nuts United's Kristian Amdal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Torstein Tøndel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 26th minute of the match. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hauk Horne in the 27th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Hauk Horne could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Benito Sanz however easily saved by the left post. Torstein Tøndel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Kristian Amdal made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Jim Thorvaldsen kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Torstein Tøndel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Axel Tasis made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Puig to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Torstein Tøndel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Finn Moe during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Cheeky Nuts United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Finn Moe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 63 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Juan Rubio. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 68th minute. Kristian Amdal charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kristian Amdal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 played minutes Cheeky Nuts United got a freekick which was hit by Kristian Amdal. In the 79th minute, Kristian Amdal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute, Hauk Horne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 87 minutes, Eliseo Noboa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Cheeky Nuts United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eliseo Noboa kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match.
