After taking down the ball on Juventus F.C.'s corner Anfilogino Arpaia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 17th minute, Yan Quan Yi made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Yan Quan Yi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Yan Quan Yi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juventus F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Yan Quan Yi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yan Quan Yi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 31st playminute. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juventus F.C. made a substitution. Cristian Menendo replaced Yan Quan Yi. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Juventus F.C. booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Menendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Menendo in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute of the match Juventus F.C. got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luo Li Ting ran over to the corner to take the kick. 75 minutes into the game, Cristian Menendo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. In the 96th minute, Luo Li Ting hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
